"Bodily harm…" the officer trailed off. "It seems we will need to call her too." He seemed reluctant but he had no other option.
"You can call her over the phone. She has been installed as my legal guardian in case of my demise or during a medical emergency," he said quietly.
The officer could only nod. What a complicated life these rich lived. They couldn't even trust their own family to be safe and take the decision in the person's best interest. They had to find someone from outside to do it.
"Do you have her number?" he asked.
"I do," he said.
