Cookie wore an expression of doubts before responding, even though her answer would be more than obvious. "Well... No. But why didn't you tell me before going to that graveyard? I could have helped you! I've shot weapons before."

That sounded rare coming from someone like her, but Cookie was a girl who lived in the countryside, after all. Her father likely possessed guns.

Vanilla drank more hot chocolate from her mug. "Cookie, you live at like 10 miles from Merry Oaths. Besides, Carol doesn't let me use the telephone and I doubt your parents let you use theirs." She said.

"They let me use it, but... it's not like I don't have anyone to call, either," She responded, looking down. "By the way, you mentioned some guys in red robes or something like that, I think I saw very similar people around the forest near here, right close to where the harpies tried to eat you the day we met."
