Chapter 71: LXXI. Arachnid Messiah.

The Giant Scorpion finally succumbed to the swarm of Giant Spiders all over its body, destroying its keratin armor. Its massive legs let themselves fall to the ground, splashing dust and rocks away in a rumble. Its pincers retracted, but the army of spiders on it didn't stop attacking.

Vanilla and Witzy surrounded them and walked towards Lancelot, who was at the other side. "We did it!" Vanilla cheerfully said. 

"Yeah! Give me one!" The skeleton extended his palm. Vanilla did too, and together they did 'high-five'. "We're a good team!" Lancelot said.

"I guess so," Vanilla responded. Both chuckled and looked at their surroundings.

"The Giant Scorpion is defeated!" Rowie's voice sounded. He rode his giant spider towards them, descending the rock wall. "And it's all thanks to you!"

"Well, I guess those spiders were the ones who suffered it the most," Vanilla said, looking around.
