Chapter 323: The Calming Song

Yianni was confused as his brows creased and he stopped in his tracks. "Dyon?" he called.

"Yianni!" she shrieked, the expression on her face changing immediately. "I knew you'd come to see me soon! I just knew it… Did I tell you that he was coming, Simms?" Dyon asked her maid with a shine in her eyes and the widest of smile spread across her face.

Yianni was transfixed.

'What is happening?' he thought but at the same time, he felt grateful and decided to ride the wave until it died. He was going to take advantage of the good mood that Dyon was in even though he was highly unsure about it.

"Come! Come!" she called in his direction and she wriggled her fingers on her outstretched arms at Yianni. 

"A hug… it's been so long, husband!"
