Chapter 97: Sir Pride Finds Out

In The Ziviel Kingdom...

The boys that Sir Pride had sent to Sir Taff's house returned and were giving Sir Pride feedback of how their operation had gone.

"What happened?", Sir Pride asked. "Did anyone see you?

The first boy was the one that spoke first." I do not think so, sir, because I had seen the person that was following Sir Taff. They were two of them", he narrated and described exactly what the man had been wearing.

"That means you could not give Taff the letter, right?", Sir Pride asked.

"No sir. But this was how we did it", the boy said. "When I saw them walk away, the spies, all covered up, following Sir Taff with just a little distance between them, I signaled to my partner and he went into the house immediately. I remained at my post outside as I continued to watch in case anyone thought to return to the house. But, no one did. They had followed Sir Taff to wherever he was going"
