Chapter 6: Let Him Go
As usual, the sun appears in a very late morning and wakes my family up. Yeah, as usual we always have breakfast and start the day by drinking milk or coffee. Not like ordinary day, today Entong is going to join a motorcycle tour this Sunday and he wants to use our father’s motorcycle. My dad Seems to be worry about him.
“Are you sure you could make it to the finish line huh ?”
“Of course, don’t worry dad.”
“Well, it is a beautiful and terrible thing, and should therefore be treated with great caution.”
“Okay dad, I know it.”
My father may not sure if he could reach the finish line and he complains to my mom. He is not agree with my mom, cause my mom lets my brother join in the race. She even pushes him to practice everyday. However, my father still think that my brother couldn’t make it at all.
“Why you let him in ?”
“Because, he wants it.”
“But, He’s never done anything like this before.”
“Just let him try it first, how hard it is going to be huh ?”
“Well, that race could be dangerous for him”
“What’s it going to be then, eh ?”
“Just forced him to stop practicing for the race and I think he may hear your word and do as you want.”
“No, I’ve decide it and I want him to join in that race. I want you to trust him and support him, cause he is your son and he needs you.”
“Ahhhh, okay…. I will let him join it in one condition.”
“What ?”
“I want someone older accompany him.”
“Okay, it’s just a piece of cake.”
So, my parents then look for a friend who they could trust really much and could make sure that my brother is gong to be safe during the race. You know, my father may still a little worry about that race. But, he tries to believe in my brother and let him go to the race.
