Chapter 38: Crosskeys & Cross Fusion
•𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘀: CrossKeys are special DNA Keys that can be generated by the CrossTrix for use in the cross-fusion process, the device's titular function. The CrossTrix uses a unique fusion chamber that copies the DNA samples stored in CrossKeys after they've been inserted into the keyhole at the centre of the selection dial.
•𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀-𝗙𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Cross-Fusions are a unique type of fusion exclusive to the CrossTrix. Once a DNA sample is scanned and copied, it is fused into the selected CrossTrix alien's genetic code in a way that expresses the sampled alien's unique external physiology as an armour of sorts. By assembling the sampled alien's genetic code around the original DNA instead of interweaving it, both aliens' powers are able to coexist at full strength as opposed to the "half-and-half" strength seen in standard fusions.
