Chapter 278: Chapter 279: Nightmare

Xie Cheng didn't like backstabbers like Zhang Yi, and he didn't expect that Zhang Yi would dare to come back to the bar.

"What are you doing back here?"

"Why do you stink so much?"

At first, Xie Cheng thought the smell was from customers not flushing the toilet in the restroom. It turned out, however, that the foul odor was emanating from Zhang Yi.

Just as Xie Cheng was about to say something, Zhang Yi grabbed his throat and dragged him into that restroom.

In the dimly lit bar, no one else witnessed this scene. Struggling to breathe with Zhang Yi clutching his throat, and just as he was about to scream, Zhang Yi pinned him against the wall with one hand and pulled out a sharp awl, plunging it into Xie Cheng's neck.

With a gurgling sound, Xie Cheng swallowed his last gulp of saliva, as blood spurted from his neck, splattering the walls of the restroom.

After a few struggles, he soon collapsed limply to the floor.
