What to expect?
What do you expect as a reader when venturing into a new novel, or in this case light novel? Maybe it is a memorable adventure worth telling your kids, maybe it is a story of drama and love or maybe you just want to escape the hardships of life and indulge in stories of lives that were never lived.
But for whichever reason, you might have clicked on that title, you did it (hopefully) with the intent of taking some time off, of your 24 hour day to read one of my works, and for that let me thank you.
So let's get now to the point of the above-mentioned question. Here, under the title of "Chronicles of a forgotten World" I'll write short stories that will all play in the same world and realm, they might be two chapters long or they might be twenty long and each one of them will reach its end with each volume I create. I will take the liberty with this work, to let my creativity flow endlessly in form of letters on these white pages, you'll then read. Those words, you'll read will be the first ones I've written and the last ones, there won't be any editing or correcting (with exception of grammatical and spelling errors), for exactly one simple, yet important reason. The beauty of errors.
Perfection is nothing but an illusion, a word without any meaning or sense to it. Did you ever see perfection in something? No, no I don't think you have, it might have been good, maybe superb but never perfect in fact, nothing in humans or human creation is or could be perfect. The human per sè is a mass, an accumulation of failures, errors and imperfections and therefore these stories will remain as I put them to paper in harmony with humanity's nature. But that is not the sole reason for my decision. With it, I want to avoid the irreversible mistake of revising my works for days and weeks trying to reach perfection, in wich's pursuit my stories might even become worse than what they originally were and not knowing if the reader might have liked that version more then it's original.
To come back to my initial point: on what to expect (I never said from the reader), I would say the liberty to release my whole creativity without caring if it might look or sound strange after a second and third revision, active readers who like or equally hate the stories I create and finally my own growth through your feedback and my creative freedom.
As a last point, I wanted to thank you again for taking your time to embark on this journey, every ended short story will be marked with: -END- and each new short story will be started in a new volume.
