Chosen to be a Villain

Andrew and his family are thrust into turmoil after losing a loved one to the influence of a false god. This malevolent deity grants powers to those it harms, transforming them into summoners. These summoners can call forth living manifestations from their past—books, movies, and other cherished or despised memories. As a result, society fractures into two opposing factions: those who protect these summoned beings and those who seek to enslave them.

Humanity, haunted by the memory of what was stolen from them, is reminded of the untouchable nature of the gods and the perpetual unrest that plagues their existence on Earth.
