Chapter 343: Chapter 97- Talia – New Mission Volume 3

Lex put me on my feet when we were at the door to our room. I didn't have to ask him, and I was grateful for that. I needed to walk on my own from here, but I was looking forward to when we were alone. When I could crawl into his arms and let him hold me, make love to me, and tell me that everything would be alright.

Acacius was not far from our room. He had taken residence in a servants' quarter nearby so he could be near if I needed him. When he came running from his room, I asked him to gather the others in the throne room, we had news to share.

I watched as Acacius's eyes went wide in worry. He was clearly worried about what might have happened to warrant something of this magnitude. Especially so soon after we just brought everyone here. It wasn't exactly run of the mill.
