Chapter 69: Chapter 69- Beech – Another Meeting for Another Attack Part 2 (VOLUME 1)

The meeting had started with a bang. From the moment that Rika had gotten here, it was clear that Reagan was in a foul mood. He hadn't been like that in a long time, and I wasn't sure what was the matter with him. The only thing that had changed since last night was the fact that I had met my mate, and he was here with me right now. Whatever could it have been other than that?

Was Reagan not happy that there was yet another human in our midst? No, that couldn't be it. He wasn't a specist like that. He didn't think that one species was above the other. Was he upset that he hadn't found his mate yet? Was that it? I am not sure why, but I was thinking that this might actually be the case.

"How do I even need to explain this!? How do you all not get that the attacks were both by the same people?" Rika's voice was adamant as she spoke, and it sent a surge of fear coursing through me.
