Chapter 43: Chapter 43- Rika – Out with Westin Part 2 (VOLUME 1)

Being with Westin just felt natural and easy. If I had known what being with a mate was like, what I would feel, then I never would have made the mistake of thinking that Clovio was my mate. I didn't feel anything like this when I was with him.

And, in truth, it wasn't like there was anything overly special that we were doing or feeling. It was just a sense of everything being right and the way that it was meant to be. We walked from the gallery that was going to deliver the paintings to my place the next day, and headed over towards Le Bel Ange de la Lune, a French restaurant that Westin had picked out for this evening. It was a nice place that needed a reservation, so he had definitely called in a favor to get into this place. Then again, it was also owned by a wolf from my family's pack, and that meant that they wouldn't deny Westin if they knew that I was coming.
