"Hello everyone." I said in a sickeningly sweet tone as the door shut behind us. The moment they heard my voice, the former gods all stopped and turned to face me. Delicate glass goblets tumbled from grips that turned loose and slack. Smiles slipped into something filled with shock, fear, and anger. Every face that turned toward me had changed from the mirth and glee that caused their laughter to something dark and ominous.

"What are you doing here?" Hades asked in a tone filled with venom. "This is a protected level of the underworld. You can't get here unless you've earned it. Not even we could enter this place until we gave up our immortality and entered the queue for reincarnation."
