Chapter 267: Invasion (1)

"Okay no one panic." Jayce said, trying to calm down the intensive beating of his heart.

However, his voice did little to quash the restlessness in everyone's minds. Agni especially seemed to be freaked out at the whole situation.

"It's okay. We haven't been relying on the system for a long time now so there shouldn't be any issues." Tai spoke up, seeing that the situation wasn't progressing in a good direction.

Jayce sent a thankful look towards Tai, happy that at least someone had said something positive. After hearing this, most of them were able to take a step back and not break into utter panic.

"Ah. But what about my stuff in the inventory?" Agni piped up, despair crawling onto his face.

A collective groan rang out from within the group. Unlike Jayce who had access to a spatial ring, everyone else had relied on the system inventory to lug around their heavy gear so they could fight unimpeded.
