     I blinked slowly, and my eyelids fluttered at the featherlight feel of his lips against mine. It completely knocked the breath out of my lungs and I gasped lightly when he slowly pulled away. The kiss hadn't been deep, it had felt more intimate than sexual, and yet it felt like it completely unraveled me.

I slowly blinked my eyes open just as Kenny's hands stroked my hair out of my face.

"You're silly to think I'd ever think you're not sexy or won't find you appealing. Do you understand how insane you make me feel? I literally always have to fight myself to keep a reasonable distance from you and act like I'm fucking fine with being just friends with you when a know that's a lie."

"Oh." I whispered, suddenly feeling dazed and flustered at the same time. He reached for my hand with his free hand and tangled our fingers together.
