Chapter 76: That was quick

Ashley didn't realize her being in pain would affect Tristan this much that he would blame himself for not protecting her. But in reality, it wasn't even his fault.

She kept hugging him until he relaxed and pulled back. His eyes held fear, but she couldn't understand why.

"I am not that strong as you think of me, Tristan. Even, though I feel the pain but after going through so much in life I managed to overcome it eventually" Ashley didn't realize when she became obliged to pain that she came to handle everything on her own. 

She grew up without a mother. Her father was the only family she had. But even after having him, she couldn't bring herself to tell him everything that bothered her.

Some things were shared only between a woman, and she had no one to talk to until Alice entered the picture.
