Chapter 239: It's all my fault

A loud gunshot echoed inside the silent hall, taking everyone by surprise. Noah and Ace looked ahead, eyeballing Ashley in shock.

Deuces fell limp on the ground after Tristan shot him right at the center of his brows before he pulled the trigger over Ashley.

Tristan quickly ran towards Ashley, engulfing her in a tight hug," Are you okay" he said with a whisper, next to her ear which pulled her out of the shock.

Ashley thought it was her who got shot, but it was Deuces who was killed by Tristan and she tight there standing alive, embraced in the arms of her beloved.

She didn't utter a word and just buried her face into his solace as her body trembled because of the loud impact of the gun sound she heard a while ago.
