Chapter 428: He wants to meet you?

"Linda frowned at the sight of Karl's pale face. The way he stared at her with utter shock made her wonder as if she had caught him red-handed.

"Karl, aren't you going to invite me?" ignoring the paleness on his face, she asked forcing a polite smile.

Karl's hand around the doorknob tightened and he immediately screamed. ''LINDA, WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE." he purposely raised his voice letting Gwen know about her visit.

Linda knitted her brows, confused with the way Karl was shouting at her arrival. She found him acting even more strange but didn't voice it out.

Gwen on the other hand jumped at his voice, but the words she heard made her drop the knife as she shot her head in the direction of the kitchen door and whispered.

"Linda... what is she doing here?" her eyes fluttered nervously and she quickly looked back, heaving out a restless breath.
