Chapter 4: 4.) training and doing research
Once morning came Tommy route started once more and ended after he put up his first video of the day which was a vlog about him making a Q&A, and of course, he did make breakfast for Bella since she still his half-sister even if he dislikes her. Tommy sigh and look down at his dogs " come on we have some work to do" he said then got ready and left for the old Swan home that was almost finished being fix up, of course, Tommy had given them the day off so no one would question how he would disappear. Once he got to the basement he went to the north wall and place his hand on it then use some magic to open a secret door that closes right behind him, Tommy made his way down the stairs and into a huge open room then he walk over to the shelf and start to look through the books there till he finds the one he needed.
Tommy took a seat on one of the chairs there and start to read " when a wizard finds their spirit animal it shows they have reached adulthood and is ready to find their mate, and but their mate even if they are a shifter or vampire or werewolf they would not know they are mates till after the spirit animal is found, that is when the bond will form" he read a load to himself then he kept reading through the book till he got to a chapter " and when the wizard is close to their 20th birthday they will start to have dreams of their mate or mates" he said. Then he leans back in his seat and sighs softly while he gently set the book on the coffee table " so that is what happens" he said and look around as the fireplace was already had a roaring fire within it since he came down and gentle music had joined it as the candles light up as well.
Tommy leans his head back thinking of what he learns and wonders what his spirit animal would be, and what his dreams would so him to give him an idea of who his mates were, of course, he knew they were shifters and that there would be three of them but the dream didn't give any more details than that. He gave a sigh and got to his feet then he put the book back with his magic and started to head for the stairs while he was thinking of what he should do now, while Fang and Ruby join his side and they headed up and out while he was deep in thought about everything " tomorrow we will take a trip to La Push and relax maybe Hang out with Jake and them" he said then he heard home since it was around lunchtime and they were getting hungry.
After the truck ride home the three went inside and relax while they are some food and watch a movie, of course, Tommy couldn't wait for his 20th birthday where everything would change for him, of course, he wasn't sure what else would be coming his way so he has been getting everything ready and looking up protective barriers for Forks and La Push but he wasn't sure how well those would work out. Now of course the Cullen's have a treaty with the elders but not with the swan clan because of Edward and had their mind wrapped of anything magic related.
Of course, Tommy didn't have a problem with them not yet anyways, well all but Edward who was on the clan's blacklist, which wasn't a good place to be, and if it means keeping those he care for alive he would take him out and any who stood in his way. Tommy shook his head to clear it while he was cleaning up most of the house, of course, he didn't touch Bella's room or his father's but he did the rest then he headed down to his room and start to work on recording his second video of the day. With a sigh, Tommy had finished and uploaded the video after editing it down so it wasn't so long, while his dogs were snoozing away on his bed, while Tommy was thinking of what to make for dinner while also thinking of how glad he was the Sue Clearwater gave him cooking lessons when he was younger or all they would be eating is diner food or microwave stuff which wasn't healthy in the least.
Once he decides what he wants to make Tommy headed up to the kitchen and start to cook Stake with Corn on the cob and beans, since he knew his dad and Bella would be home, he licks his lips as the smell filled the air which made his dogs come up and a seat at his feet even if both hounds had just eaten, " no you spoiled hounds" he said with a chuckle and a shake of the head. Since it was clear they were begging for a piece of the delicious smelling food, but of course, it didn't work on Tommy who had pretty much raised them and had gotten used to their ways, Tommy some music on as he cooks food and made sure he didn't trip over his two hounds that were still seated at his feet. By the time they had walked into the front door the food was ready and on the table with drinks, so they sat down and ate then Bella rushed upstairs to her room, while the other two took their time and talk while they listen to the game that was happening on TV, Tommy had a feeling it had to do with the Cullen's but he wasn't sure what, but he would soon find out and all hell would break loose, in the small town of forks but he knew that he was ready and had back up. Once they finish eating they clean up then went to their rooms since it was already so late, Tommy shower then dress for bed while Ruby and Fang were already in their bed so he walked to his and fell asleep.
