"I brought a gift for you," Val said as he gently embraced her, whispering the words into her ear. His husky tone resonated warmly within her, causing her earlobe to flush with a tinge of red. It was a tender, intimate moment between them.

"What gift?" Eliana lifted her head and looked into Val's eyes. His eyes were warm and full of kindness, while her eyes sparkled with a mix of excitement and curiosity.

She wasn't one to long for material things, and she always felt indebted when Val gave her things without asking for anything in return. However, a part of her could not help but feel thrilled when she received a gift from the man she loved and had devoted her entire self to.
