Chapter 99: The wretched people - II

Salvatore's eyes looked up from his plate and to Evelyn, "Is everything to your liking, Evelyn?" 

Was he doing what she was thinking? She stared at him to make sure that he had heard correctly. 

She had. 

Evelyn glanced at all of our family members before meeting Salvatore's eyes again. 

He nodded. 

Evelyn placed her fork down. "I don't really like what they have done to the house." She tsked as she looked around. "I also don't like that they are living here while I intend to sell the house." 

"Sell the house?" Giuseppe spoke up with a red face. "What?!" 

He was angry. But did Evelyn care? 

Evelyn nodded and waved her hand around. "I find no reason to keep this house since I am no longer living here and my father too. Why keep such a massive house when I do not plan to rent it out nor do I plan to live in it." 

Gianna looked at her husband and without quickly she snapped her neck to him everyone noticed the move.
