She looked at her hands in her lap. She even had her manicure down for this night. "I don't get it. You agreed to marry me." She whispered her eyes still not meeting his.
He sighed loudly and rubbed the back of his head. That action made him look mildly annoyed. "I don't. . . I didn't remember." He confessed looking down. One could say that he looked guilty.
"Oh," she mumbled looking around the room suddenly embarrassed. She had made sure that everything looked like it was professionally done.
He had been gone for the past two days and she had decorated the whole house herself, refusing the help offered.
"It's Alright. The decorations are just.." She mumbled awkwardly and stood up, her eyes still down, barely holding end tears in. "I am going to bed." She ran upstairs to the room where she stayed in.
Salvatore watched his wife run upstairs. His chest felt heavy and the emotion was unfamiliar. Nevertheless, he stood up and opened the front door. The man stood outside and The Boss shook his head. "Take it your wife." He closed the door to the man holding a huge bouquet of Dahlias. His promise to the commitment that he closed the door on.
