"I'm in position, Master."
A young girl in a school uniform was on a phone as she was drawn to the sounds of the construction sight.
"Good, just stay there and observe her use the blade. Just notify me of what happens."
"Understood."
Time passed as she peered into the building. She saw the chaos blade appear before her.
She picked up her phone to call her Master.
"Master, the chaos blade has appeared."
"Darling, just wait a little bit more. But good work."
"Understood."
She saw the fight brew. Mio's fighting style was crazy and she was not aware of her actions. She was flailing her sword and was able to move rapidly to avoid the thugs. What caught her eye was the thugs were able to transform into those beasts from what looks like the underworld.
After the fight Mio was screaming in pain. She took out her frustration on the various building materials around her.
"Fuck!!! Shit!!! Dammit!!"
She dropped the blade and started sobbing. It disappeared as it touched the ground. The markings disappeared from her face and chest.
Her head was throbbing as well from the impact from the fight. She knew her body was taking a toll from this blade.
"I can't deal with this shit. How am I suppose to get rid of this."
She rubbed her eyes got up and ran out of the building.
The young woman watching got up and examined the brawl that took place. She saw the transformed thugs and there somewhat dismembered bodies.
She saw something glowing in one of the bodies, a shiny object. She examined it further it was a tiny fragment of glass or metal. She picked up her phone.
"Master, she is gone. She killed all of them. The bodies contain a small fragment."
"Good work, darling. You can come back home now."
"Understood."
She fled the scene.
What was strange is that when she left the scene the bodies began to dissipate into a black nothingness leaving no traces behind.
In an office building somewhere in the city.
"It seems like we lost contact with some of your goons."
"No worry. They find girl."
"I don't think so. It seems to me that the girl has killed your friends."
"How know?"
"You can't underestimate what I can do. Just move on to phase 2 of the plan."
"Yes."
The man turned around in his chair to face the skyline.
"This girl may become a nuisance later if we don't get the blade."
In another office building this time with more of a futuristic decor and appearance. There stood two familiar women staring at a crystal like fragment that the younger woman had brought.
"Whatever this fragment is made of or where it came from is beyond this world."
"Master do you need more?"
"I don't think so. What we have is enough for now."
She pats her head.
"Good job."
It looked liked she didn't enjoy the praise but when she left the room she started jumping for joy.
"That bastard is using soul stones to draw energy from humans with immense desire."
She watches footage of Mio's fight with the thugs. The recording plays a loop of Mio awakening the blade.
"No matter. The blade will soon be on our side."
She laughs a little but enough only to show minimal amount of emotion.
At Mio's apartment she can be seen covering herself with a blanket and holding her knees. Shaken by the events that occurred she ponders this curse in sorrow.
