Chapter 5: Be my friend
Sun Shin, was the fatty's mother and his father was Sun Yan. After searching for a while, the fatty pointed at a little girl who was sitting alone. The family of three approached her.
"Come here with me" Sun Shin held Shen Xi's hand and pulled her away to avoid a commotion.
"Where are you taking, let go of me" Shen Xi tried to struggle but the fat woman was just too strong for her.
"Don't think you can hit me just like you hit my son, I'll teach you a lesson so that next time you won't dare touch my son" Sun Shin pulled Shen Xi to a corner where no one could see them.
"You there, who gave you the audacity to hit my son? don't you know about the powerful Sun family?" the fat woman yelled at Shen Xi
"It was your son who pushed me first"
"So what if my son pushed you? why did you push and kick him?" Sun Ya? n also yelled at her but Shen Xi was not a bit frightened.
"Yeah what right do you have to hit him?" the woman also went along with her husband.
"I didn't do wrong, I was only defending myself" Shen Xi looked around and saw her parents approaching, it seemed they were looking for her but since the Sun family's back was facing them, they might not see her.
"Mommy!" Shen Xi exclaimed and try to run to her but the Sun family held her back.
"Who's your mommy? that's Miss Shen how could she possibly be your mother? stop trying to escape"
Ning Nu heard her daughter call her so she approached them, when Sun Shin saw her she bowed slightly and pointed at Shen Xi.
"Sorry to disturb you Miss Shen but this little girl here offended my son and is refusing to apologise so I brought her here to teach her a lesson"
"You what?" Shen Kun asked coldly
"You want to teach my daughter a lesson?" Ning Nu asked
The Sun family broke out into a cold sweat, they were trembling all over, this meant the little girl was telling the truth.
Shen Xi run to her father and he picked her up, she buried her head in his chest and started crying.
"Baby it's okay" Shen Kun patted her back and looked at the Sun family coldly.
"Since you blame my daughter for hitting your son, I would like to check the footage first" Shen Kun announced and made a call immediately. Sun Yan broke out in a cold sweat because he knew what had really happened.
"Sir I..."
"Don't worry, I'll look at the footage " Shen Kun turned to look at the young boy who was defending himself. He was filled with disgust just by looking at them. Shen Xi stopped crying but she still clung to her father.
The footage arrived and the two families watched it, Sun Yan slapped his son after the footage ended.
"How dare you bully a girl? is that what I thought you? Hurry and apologise" Sun Yan yelled at the little son. Sun Yun was shocked because this was the first time his father had slapped him.
"I'm very sorry" Shen Yun hung his head low and cried as he apologised.
The Shen family advised the Sun family before they parted.
"Daddy I'm sorry for worrying you" Shen Xi stood dejected as she apologised to her father.
"How can worry me? It's my duty so don't feel bad" he fixed her messed hair.
Shen Xi got down and promised to stay safe before running off to play.
"Our baby is all grown up" Ning Nu commented as she watched her daughter disappear into the crowd.
"Yes, she'll be a big girl soon" Shen Kun hugged Ning Nu and kiss3d her.
"Hey what are you doing? someone might see us"
"So what? I'm just showing affection to my wife"
"Let's get going, mom might be looking for us"
"Then you owe me something tonight"
"Hey watch your words" and she escaped before he could say another word.
Shen Xi runs off to sit by Lu Chai once again.
"Young master I'm back"
He ignored her and just read the book in his hands without even looking up.
"Young master do you hate me? why do you ignore me so much?" she pouted and stood up before grabbing the book he was reading and hiding it behind.
"Give it back" he spoke coldly and looked intently at her sparkling silver eyes.
"No, you have to speak with me first and promise to be my friend"
"I'm counting to three if you don't give back my book I'll hit you"
"Ouch...Tsk...tsk...young master has no manners at all, how can you hit a lady?"
"One...two..."
and before he could finish counting she had run off with the book. He frowned and followed her.
