Chapter 424: Good Timing (1)

"Huh... students these days..." the teacher muttered and glanced at her own writings. For a while, she became silent.

In this split-second silence, Sofia almost did not notice that her teacher's hand had firmly clasped the pen and she was slightly trembling. She was actually nervous. Perhaps, going against the mayor of district 8 was a terrifying idea for her. 

"Why do young students these days presume they can handle everything on their own? Miss Su, in the end, you still need help from your elders. How could you say that the school should pretend not to know about such an issue?" The teacher forced a chuckle and looked Sofia in the eye.  She was trying to appear composed but Sofia had already seen her hand shaking.
