Chapter 208: Dining with Claire's Parents

Sofia proceed to walk with the three paper bags in her left hand and her phone in the right hand. She then noticed the screen of her phone lit up with a new notification.

It did not even take a minute before she received Claire's reply, but because Sofia was entertaining the three girls, she only read her message after about five minutes. But the response from Claire made her stop her tracks once more.

Claire: Awkward.

"Awkward?" Sofia mumbled the words and stared at her mobile phone for a few seconds, precisely to the very reply that Claire had sent. At that time, she was already on her way towards her unit. But because of this reply, she decided to turn around and head to Claire's unit instead.

The hallway towards Claire's unit was empty, so the sound of Sofia's steps managed to linger around. She bent her neck side to side and took a deep breath.
