"He never returned after that."

Lin Qianru whispered.

Perhaps it was a good thing that she didn't feel any sorrow while remembering those days. There was slight anger but except that there was nothing.

Perhaps the past feelings had finally left her heart. 

"I went to look for him in the city."

Lin Qianru remembered very well. She had been so excited when she had seen him wearing the clothes that those rich people wore. He even had a car.

She thought that he had finally achieved what he wanted to achieve.

However, when she tried to reach him, she was stopped by some people from the company. She couldn't follow him as his car went away.
