Chapter 21: The most annoying person

Katie was cutting the fruits for Yu Ziyang. She saw him looking at the phone in dismay. "What happened, Father?" Katie asked.
"Junwei was asking me to choose between him and Sophie. I think they again have an argument," Ziyang stated and started to laugh. "Junwei never behaved this way. I am so surprised. Hahahaha." Ziyang delivered his happiness while laughing.
Katie was astonished to learn about Junwei's behavior. However, she was worried too.
"Do not worry about Jun anymore. He had become a machine. At least, he is showing emotions to us," Ziyang said as he saw the concerned expressions on her daughter's face.
"I am also happy about that, Father. However, if Sophie tried to do something which isn't Jun liking, he may lose his temper. He wants everything in his way. Sophie is an energetic young woman. Their personalities are different. If Father thinks that they both will be compatible together, then he must rethink about it," Katie asserted.
"I would not have been doing this if I hadn't found them compatible. Did you ever see Jun talking with anyone except a few people? Usually, his talks will be limited to a few things. However, with Sophie his interaction and communication is different. She will surely make our Jun happy like before. Let's see the changes in Jun for a month. If nothing comes out of it, I will myself keep Sophie away from Jun."
Katie agreed to Ziyang. She believed her father's judgment. She also wanted her son to be cheerful and find happiness in his life.
Ziyang saw a message popped up on the phone's screen. "Jun has sent a message. It says that he will not come home today," Ziyang told Katie and sighed. "I don't know what Feng Jiao did to him. He has neglected us for a long time, and still doing that," he muttered and put the phone down.
He picked up the slice of apple and ate that.
"For now, let him do what he wants, Father," Katie stated.
"I am turning impatient. I have given him enough time. Neglecting his family isn't a right thing. This child always gives me a headache," Ziyang mumbled.
Katie apologized to her father for not taking care of Junwei well.
"You have done everything what a mother does," Ziyang told her daughter.
Katie shook her head. "I was failed to give him enough love. When he was young, he always missed his father's presence. He never said this to me, but I saw that on his face. He never even asked me who his father was. When he found love, and happiness, life gave him another tragedy. I think my bad luck has surrounded him."
Katie could not help but blame herself for all the wrong things that happened with her son.
"Don't say that. Sometimes, life is tough. However, it doesn't mean it won't give you anything good in return. Sophie's entry in his life is the best thing that has happened to him. Also, it's your good luck that protect Jun all the time," Ziyang affirmed with a tiny smile.

Alex gave the file to Wang Zexi and asked him to get it signed with Junwei.
"Boss is boiling with rage. He fired three employees earlier in a meeting with managers," Wang Zexi informed Alex.
"What? That's something new," Alex chuckled. He remembered it would usually happen around the death anniversary of Feng Jiao.
"How did his conversation with Sophie go on?" Alex asked as he leaned on the front desk.
"It didn't go well. That's why Boss is acting this way. Sophie didn't agree to sign a separate contract with the boss," he briefed Alex.
"What was in the contract?" Alex asked. Wang Zexi forwarded the contract to Alex, who started to read it.
"Anyone would refuse to sign such a contract. Junwei has lost his mind," Alex said when the glass door opened and Junwei walked out. Wang Zexi stood up from the chair and asked Junwei if he wanted something.
"Tell Zheng Daniel to meet me," Junwei said and walked ahead. Alex walked after him and told him what he was thinking.
Junwei stopped and glared at him. "Don't roam around freely. You are supposed to work at this hour not talk with me." His tone was harsh and expressions were grim.
"I finished my work," Alex said.
"Then, do the other work," Junwei shouted at him and walked ahead.
Alex laughed to see his behavior. "Sophie did right by not agreeing to all these terms. You are such a tyrant!" Alex said and Junwei halted at his place.
Wang Zexi widened his eyes at Alex, who was ready to fight with Junwei.
Junwei turned to look at Alex. "What did you say?" He was already pissed off after the conversation with Sophie. She said the similar words to him.
"Don't step into the company after today. You are fired!" Junwei said and walked away.
Alex chuckled and went after him. "Hey! You cannot fire me this way," he stated and got into the elevator with him.
"You should work for her only. You both are suitable for each other," Junwei said with annoyance.
"Jun, you have lost your senses," Alex said. "You fired employees randomly. Do you even have an idea what are you bringing upon yourself?" He complained.
"Shut up, Alex. Don't give me any lecture," Junwei asserted and took out the phone from his pocket. It was Wang Zexi. He answered it and then after a few seconds, he disconnected it.
"I cannot believe a woman has irritated you to this extent," Alex said, suppressing his smile.
"She has earned the degree to irritate others," Junwei said.
"Correction! Only for you that degree works," Alex said and the elevator opened. They both stepped out of it at the component designing department.
"She is the most annoying person that I have ever encountered. Did you know what she did before leaving?"
Alex shook his head.
Junwei told him how she wrote that he was s tyrant and then teased him before running away.
Alex ended up laughing and then apologized to Junwei.
"I have to remove her as the brand ambassador before it appears in media. I cannot handle that insane woman anymore," Junwei affirmed.
