Chapter 89: Your Attitude Matters More Than Your Attire
" Yes young master, Madam Lei came half an hour back " the guard said to Wang Lei in Chinese.
" What is he saying ?? " Niha asked Wang Lei.
Wang Lei turned to Niha and said " My mother is here ".
" What ?? " Niha exclaimed with surprise. Later she said " I... I mean what she is doing here early in the morning ?? ".
" I'm also with you. Then how would i know ?? Let's go inside " Wang Lei said to Niha.
" Hmm, it makes sense " Niha nodded her head and said to Wang Lei.
" Well let's go inside " Wang Lei said to Niha.
" No No, you go first. I'll come later " Niha said to Wang Lei.
" Why ?? " Wang Lei asked Niha.
" Because I'm.... feeling like... I want to jog more " Niha said to Wang Lei while stretching her hands.
" Really !? the girl who usually wakes up at eight in the morning wants to jog out of the blue !!? " Wang Lei asked Niha mockingly. Later he said " I'm surprised !! ".
" What surprised !? Actually i was enlightened today. And also I realised that I need to focus more on my health. You carry on. I'll join you guys later " Niha said to Wang Lei. Then she turned back and thought she had escaped. She felt relieved and started jogging.
However Wang Lei pulled her Hoodie and said " drop you act ".
" Ahh !! what are you doing. Leave me " Niha shouted.
" You're not going anywhere " Wang Lei said to Niha.
" No i really want to jog " Niha said to Wang Lei.
" Later " Wang Lei said and dragged Niha with him.
" Ok i won't go. Leave me now " Niha said to Wang Lei.
Wang Lei released Niha and said " Good girl ".
Niha smirked and said " Always.... ".
Later she said " But not now " and then she started running.
However Wang Lei caught her and asked " Why are you running again ?? What exactly is your problem ?? ".
" Actually,, this is my first time meeting her right !! " Niha said to Wang Lei.
" No " Wang Lei said to Niha.
" No !? What do you mean by that ?? " Niha asked Wang Lei.
" Nothing " Wang Lei said to Niha.
" Mmm,, Look at my dress. How could i meet her like this ?? " Niha said to Wang Lei.
" Don't worry you look beautiful in any costume not to mention this jogging dress. And also what matters is your attitude not your attire... " Wang Lei held Niha's hand and said with a gentle mile. Meanwhile Niha slowly nodded her head in agreement.
" Okay. Let's go " Wang Lei said to Niha.
" Wait wait " Niha stopped Wang Lei again.
" What is bothering you now ?? " Wang Lei asked Niha.
" I heard that when you guys meet your in-laws for the first time, you buy so many gifts. But see i haven't bought any. What should I do now ?? " Niha asked Wang Lei.
" Shh !! Come on she doesn't need any gifts " Wang Lei said to Niha.
" But.... " Niha tried to say something.
" No buts... Now zip your mouth and follow me silently " Wang Lei said to Niha. Later he held Niha's hand and tried to pull her.
" No no no.... Wait i suddenly remembered something " Niha said to Wang Lei.
" What now ?? " Wang Lei asked Niha.
" Actually i'm not feeling well. I'll meet her later okay " Niha said to Wang Lei while struggling to loosen her hand.
Wang Lei saw through her act and said " You are not feeling well ?? Okay then. Don't worry, I'll carry you inside ".
" No no... forget it. I can walk " Niha said to Wang Lei while thinking how to avoid her mother-in-law.
" Don't get any silly ideas " Wang Lei said to Niha.
" I won't " Niha replied as she understood that there is no way to escape from meeting her mother-in-law.
Then Wang Lei firmly held her hand and took her inside. When they got inside Madam Lei was sitting on the sofa and facing her back towards them. Niha felt a little nervous after seeing her mother's-in-law figure .
" Go and greet her " Wang Lei said to Niha.
Niha didn't hear Wang Lei's words she was looking at her mother-in-law very attentively.
" Niha !! " Wang Lei shouted her name out loudly.
Niha came to her senses. She blinked her eyes and asked " What !? ".
" Mm !! What has gotten into you today ?? Go and greet her " Wang Lei said to Niha.
" By myself !? " Niha widened her eyes asked Wang Lei.
" Or else do you want to take everyone in this villa with you ?? " Wang Lei asked Niha.
" Yeah,,, good idea. You are awesome. Let's call everyone okay " Niha said to Wang Lei.
" God !! i couldn't believe you. Go now " Wang Lei said to Niha.
" Are you not going with me ?? " Niha looked at Wang Lei like a kitten and asked him. Meanwhile Wang Lei laughed at her behaviour and shook his head.
" What !? I can't go by myself. See,, even my legs are not able to move. Please go with me " Niha asked Wang Lei in a pleaded tone.
" What are you doing there ?? " Madam Lei asked them. Her voice echoed in Niha's ears and Niha stood still in her place with amazement.
" Go... She is asking you " Wang Lei said to Niha and pushed her slowly.
" Ryan don't push me. I'm scared... no no please don't push.... " Niha said to Wang Lei.
" What is taking you so long. Come here " Madam Lei asked them with a gentle tone.
" Wait her voice sounds so familiar " Niha said and Wang Lei stopped pushing her. She fixed her clothes and started Walking towards Madam Lei.
Then Madam Lei slowly turned her head and asked " You don't want to come ?? ".
" Aunt Wu !! " Niha exclaimed with surprise. She felt very delighted. Then she quickly ran towards Madam Lei and hugged her.
