At 3 PM, I had finished packing and was ready to go to the hospital, waiting for Charlie to return to the villa to pick up something. I sat on the bar terrace while my uncle was busy moving the suitcase from inside to the terrace.

"Do you already know about your father's issue with Charlie?" my uncle asked.

"I don't know..." I shrugged. "I don't want to know either..."

He placed a black suitcase in front of me, then sat down, staring at me.

"You should start talking about it. I'm worried it will become a serious problem for your relationship," he said with a concerned look on his bearded and messy-haired face.
