Chapter 58: I Catch You If You Fall

Only machine sounds echoed all over the hospital room. Syanja's head rested on Jung-Hoon's hand, which she was holding tightly. He was lying on the bed, still unconscious. The doctor told her that he lost a lot of blood and his organs will need time to recover before returning to normal.

She felt her eyes watering with sadness, her chest hurt just thinking about what had happened. What if they lose him? She didn't know whether she could handle it.

The thought of losing the love of her life again caused fresh tears to roll down her cheeks as she sat next to his bed. She leaned closer to him, as if doing so would make him wake up. It made her even sadder than seeing him like this.

After a few moments, Jung-Hoon moved his finger slowly in an attempt to wake up. This got her attention as she looked at her love, who tried to say something but only managed a small groan. She gently placed her hand in front of his face and caressed it softly.
