Chapter 55: I am broken

It's been a week since Syanja left. Jung-Hoon was sitting in his office while his eyes were fixed on his laptop screen. He didn't know why but he had this weird feeling of emptiness.

"I miss you Syanja." He muttered softly as he leaned back in his chair.

He closed the lid of his laptop and took a deep breath. His phone vibrated against the desk, breaking him out of his trance.

"Miss you too." came a text from Syanja.

He smiled to himself as he opened the text and read the message again.

"She knows me well." Jung thought to himself. "Of course, I know you well." He chuckled as he got another message from Syanja. "No one has known me as you do."

He felt like a teenager getting flustered over their crush and it made him smile even more. He quickly typed out another text before putting away his phone.

''Video call?" he wrote out and sent it to her. He waited for her answer. "Okay, after an hour," she replied.
