Once upon a time, there was a young maiden.
She wasn’t that great looking, but she wasn’t ugly, either.
She wasn’t blonde.
She wasn’t your stereotypical, helpless, beautiful fairy tale heroine.
She most definitely was not waiting for her prince.
She was waiting for her princess.
She was having a really, really hard time finding one.
Especially in her very religious high school.

Looking at Jane Walker, you would see nothing but a perfectly normal, if decidedly Catholic, girl. Average name. Average grades. Average looks, at least in her own opinion. Jane has a secret, though. A secret her heavily religious, Jesus devoted parents, relatives, and friends would be disgusted by. Jane's got a huge crush on somebody... but that somebody's on the cheer team. Has had multiple boyfriends. Is the epitome of straightness.
Is a girl.
Jane's gotta make a choice, and no matter what she chooses, it'll cause problems.
