Chapter 142: "I Miss You"

At Dr. Jaia's mansion, in the living room...

"Another kidnapping incident…" Dr. Jaia muttered after Dr. Logan told them what happened in Makylee City, "Why do these people… Who are they…" She felt weak-willed when she heard about another mutant being taken.

The greedy Dr. Jaia wanted to examine all the mutants to fill her curiosity.

"I don't know what to do anymore," Sanya said, "I want to go back to Eulim, but I can't. Problems kept on surfacing. We haven't even resolved the first problem…" Deep inside her, the reason why she wanted to go back home was to spend time with her beloved Sanno. 

"Miss Mayheart, why don't you go back to Eulim? Dr. Lucian might need help on the kidnapping problem there. You go and help him," Dr. Logan suggested, "I can't go back for now. I'm restless because my granddaughter is still missing… plus, the mutant children's and the traitor's disappearances have been bothering me."
