Chapter 44: Star of My Heart

After escorting Doctor Alejandro out of the mansion, Earth went back inside. He was still thinking about Jeff's words earlier. As he reflected for the last few days, Earth had been thinking about James lately. James' attitude towards Delilah was no longer about money. Even more surprising, James asked Earth to buy a royal apartment in New York when they were still in Miami a few days before. When Earth asked for James' reason about that, he said he wanted to live in a safe and comfortable neighborhood for his life. Isn't it safe here? - thought Earth rebuking his mind.

At the same time, James would stay in Delilah's room to watch her. Earth came on the time and blocked him. 

"Grey is driving Doctor Alejandro home," said Earth reporting. James nodded. He seemed calmer than before.

"I want to talk to you for a moment," murmured James to Earth. He nodded and followed James to a small room corner where James relaxed or read the newspaper.
