Chapter 52: Ridiculous Jealousy

Delilah sits by her bed in the bedroom after meeting with Oliver. He was contemplating everything that Oliver said to her. Delilah slowly touched her necklace from her mother. James had found it when Delilah lost it. She wondered if a criminal like him would want to dive to the bottom of a cold pool to take a cheap chain? What would it be his reason?

Delilah sighed and only sat there thoughtfully. She turned towards the door when she heard a commotion outside the room. Delilah frowned and, sitting position, then walked to the door. She could hear the sound of cheerful squeaks and giggle mixed with music from the mansion's living room. Delilah started to be curious and then checked what was happening there.

But before she stepped downstairs, Delilah stopped in the middle of the stairs. Delilah was stunned to see James was slightly dancing with an unknown girl. The girl was standing at the table while James enjoyed the sway of her body.
