Chapter 248: Missing

Grey paused for a moment before continuing his sentence. He twisted his fingers with his eyes downcast.

"I no longer love Delilah like I used to. Now I took her like my own little sister. Delilah loves you very much and will not replace you with another man," continued Grey in a lower tone. James was still silent, listening to him talk.

"But I do love Jewel like my own baby. I will definitely look after her and Cass; don't worry. I will always look after your family, Mr. Belgenza," said Gray again, then patted James once on the thigh. James smiled and nodded. He will always be able to trust Grey, even in difficult times.

However, Lenora, who didn't hear Grey's words, went home in a taxi, injured. She cried in the taxi. Lenora only realized her wallet was missing when she was about to pay. She lost her wallet but, fortunately, still had cash in one of her pockets.
