Chapter 29: Will you miss me?

Chloe entered into her room shutting the door behind her as she landed on the bed exhausted. She picked up her phone and suddenly her eyes widened.

"It's noon already". She exclaimed as she swiftly stood up and entered the bathroom.

GREENFIELD UNIVERSITY:

"Ella so how was today's paper". She asked once they were put of the block.

"It was okay...The questions were so simple". Ella replied.

"So are you and Eliza friends now". Amanda asked as she gave a quick glance at Ella before turning away.

"Yeah, we've reconciled". Ella replied as she stared at Amanda.

"Is anything wrong?".

"No it's nothing...I have to go now". She said and left.

SMITH'S RESIDENCE:

"Miss Chloe, what should we do next". Dylan asked waiting for her to speak instead there was only silence.

"Listen to me Dylan, because I won't repeat this again". She scoffed.

"What could it be". He asked curiously.

"You're not going to be part of my plan". She said firmly.

"What do you mean".

"I know father sent you to spy on me". She said flashing him a wicked smile.

"I can't let you ruin my plan by reporting my events to my father so you're dismissed". She said as she stood up to her feet and grabbed her leather jacket.

"Get the car ready". She said and dashed out through the door.

LIBRARY:

"Charles". Amanda said waving her hand to get his attention.

"Oh! You're quite early". Charles said as he grabbed a seat beside her.

"I had to get everything ready before you arrived". She said flashing him a bright smile, showing him the books.

"That's nice". He complimented.

"So can we study now". Amanda said opening one of the books.

"Sure...I just want to ask if we'll still be able to see each other if the exams are over". Charles said as he stared at her.

"Um.. Charles what are you saying". She asked avoiding his gaze.

"It's the final exams". He said.

"Yeah I know".was Amanda reply as she turned her head to face what she was doing when suddenly Charles spoke-

"Would you miss me".

Amanda stared at him for a few seconds as what he said started to digest.

"Um... Charles why don't we do what we came here for". She said calmly as she raised the book in front of his face.

"Amanda don't try to deny it". He said as he held her hand which wasn't holding any book as her heart skipped a beat.

"Answer me? Would you miss me? Would you still go ahead and get married to Sam Taylor? Tell me? I want to know". He said as he tightened his grip on her hand.
