Kieran placed a knife on the wooden surface where other weapons lay. 

Leonard stood off to the side, leaning against a tree. He was already tired from the other training he had been put through but his exterior remained calm. The only telltale sign of his tiredness was his uneven breathing. 

"Do you know something interesting about being moon bound?" Kieran asked as he raised a knife to the sun. 

Leonard remained silent and waited to see what Kieran was getting at. 

He turned it and slid his hand against the sharp edge and it cut his finger. But the wound healed before he had dropped the knife. "Apart from being moon bound, they're moon gifted. Not moon gifted in the sense that they become sisters of light but they gain powers to protect whoever it is they're assigned. Sadly, not everyone blessed with these gifts explores them to the very best of their capability."
