Synopsis
Worlds collide when a young woman is saved by a witch after being double crossed. The fates of Hollyhock and Hazel become entwined as they delve deeper into their respective worlds of crime and magic. Can they survive the journey for the truth about who they are, how they fit in with their peoples, what destiny has in store for them; and perhaps most importantly, what they mean to each other?
Can an assassin and a witch really be together, or are bullets and spells too different to coexist?

Absolutely in love with this book! I love the weaving you do with the characters and their internal struggles, just how much Hollyhock can /see/ and process. And goodness, Hazel’s too good for this world, too pure. And man, if it weren’t for the murder I’d love being a Bay Leaf for the colorful family members alone ❤️ keep up the great work. The world you’ve built is gritty, harsh, and heart achingly beautiful.
This is actually really good and gives me like this feeling when reading an actual book than a novel. Feels quite professional in a way and the english seems advanced with barely any mistakes. I hope more will be updated and that it gets more attention.
