"To say goodbye. I mean, this is the last time I'll see you. And I just wanted to make sure you didn't die. You look terrible, that's atonement enough. And the only way I can forgive you, is if you stay alive," Lia said, rushing out the words to the point that it seemed she was nervous.

She had never thought there would come a day when the roles were reversed. It was always her on the bed, hooked to needles with her siblings frowning at her, while Alexander came and begged the shit out of her, which most of the time, she never really listened to.

Now that their roles were reversed, would Alex forgive her? But did the woman have something to be sorry about?
