What had started as a beautiful morning had become one of the nightmarish days in her life. She had never killed as many people as she had today and while she wanted to be sorry about it, she wasn't. If she had to do it again, then without a care in the world, she would. 

Carefully she walked to the living room of Alex's house. She wasn't sure what to expect, so when she saw them sleeping. She let out a sigh of relief. 

They all looked so tired and while they had cleaned up, the worry on their faces was clear. So when they heard Lia's footsteps, they all sat up, like they had been waiting for her and Nik to wake up.

"Are you okay?"

"Does anywhere hurt?"

"Should we do a checkup?"

"How are you feeling?"

"Are you okay? Do you want to leave this place? Just say the word and we will without so much as a second thought."
