One foot in front of the other, Lia let out a hundred sighs as she reached the bedroom door that carried so many memories. She was scared of who she would find behind that door. 

She wondered whether he hated her already, but then it wasn't like she had taken the damn knife and stabbed him with, right? Then again, she could have as well dug the knife into him, considering her words had been a little too cruel.

She wanted to run but most importantly she needed to get her closure if she was going to abandon Alex here, she needed to do it the right way. That way, she wouldn't have to look over her shoulders each time.

She needed to know if he would be coming after her, so she would be ready. This daughter of the earth was always ready anyway.
