“Look for the software. I can get the house subs in and pay them overtime to help straighten out the invoices and packing slips. I should have gotten an accountant on site long ago, but it’s hard to hire outsiders because of the type of club we run.” Reed sighed.
“That was a good pick up, Jamie. I think Reed should also call our lawyer. If the subs help, how long will it take?” Jim asked tapping his foot on the floor in agitation.
“Depending on how far we go back, a couple of weeks. How long do you want to go back?” Jamie asked picturing the work it would take to unravel this mess.
“I’ll call Bear, Brian’s in finance, maybe he can help. If I pick random invoices from these vendors from the very beginning, six years ago, maybe we can spot check and find out when they began to steal. Then we know where to look.” Reed picked up the phone.
