A young man dressed in gray-white clothing was smiling broadly at Xiao Yu. Though his face was smiling, there was an undercurrent of insincerity visible in his expression.
Xiao Yu's initially smiling face gradually turned serious. After casting a cold glance at the young man, she said flatly, "Long time no see! Also, we are not that familiar, so just call me Xiao Yu."
Xiao Yu and Xiao Yan both glanced curiously at Rob. Rob's appearance was indeed unappealing; he looked somewhat scheming and deceitful, which made Xiao Yu's disdain understandable.
Rob's face grew slightly sullen, but he quickly composed himself and asked with a smile, "Xiao Yu, are these the people you brought?"
"Yes," Xiao Yu replied casually. After introducing everyone, Xiao Yu continued, "I brought them here for testing."
"I see." Rob nodded with a smile and then took out a red crystal ball, saying, "I happen to have a testing crystal here. The other testing crystals have been taken to the front for evaluation, so if you wait, it might take a while. You can use mine instead."
Xiao Yu hesitated for a moment and then explained to Xiao Yu and the others, "This is the testing crystal. The method is simple—if you can activate this crystal with eight-stage Dou Qi, you will pass the test."
Xiao Ning was the first to step up for the test. The crystal ball quickly emitted a glow, followed by Xiao Mei and then Xiao Xun'er. As expected, the crystal ball lit up for all three, and they passed the test.
However, when Xiao Xun'er was testing, Rob's eyes flashed with a trace of greedy desire, and Xiao Yu's eyes narrowed with a hint of coldness.
Xiao Yu stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Xiao Yu's slender waist, pulling her into an embrace. Xiao Yu was initially stunned, then her face turned crimson. After Xiao Yu finished speaking, he released Xiao Yu. Rob, with a sullen face, glanced at Xiao Yu and said, "Since you've finished the test, please wait outside for half an hour."
Following Rob's eyes, the group saw young men and women sitting on the ground under the scorching sun outside. Xiao Yu's eyebrows shot up, and she coldly said, "Rob, what do you mean by this?"
"Naturally, it's the rules. Nowadays, new students are getting more and more unruly. This is to temper their temperament and help them adapt to life in the academy more quickly," Rob said expressionlessly.
"Don't give me that. If you want to bully those new students, I can't be bothered. But don't treat the people I brought like this!" Xiao Yu said coldly.
The other women also frowned and said, "Alright, Rob. These unwritten rules are just for bullying new students. There's no need to make such a big deal out of it."
Rob sneered, "They are being tested here, so I have the authority to manage them. Do I not have even this little authority?"
At that moment, a few men walked into the tent, smiling at Rob and saying, "Rob, it seems things aren't going smoothly here. Do you need our help?"
"It's nothing. Just a few new students who don't want to follow the rules. They even refuse to accept the academy's new student welcome gift!" Rob said casually, putting away the crystal ball.

"Not going to fight him? Then you can choose any of these people!" Rob said with a mocking smile, thinking Xiao Yu was afraid.
Gera and his companions were all nine-stage Dou Fighters or newly promoted one-star Dou Fighters. Rob thought Xiao Yu would have to fight them!
Gera also taunted, "Don't worry. I won't use my full strength against you. After all, you're my junior!"
Xiao Yu smiled lightly and said, "No, I'm going to fight you!"

Xiao Xun'er, Xiao Yan, and others stood by watching like spectators and did not try to stop him.

Xiao Yu suddenly turned to Gera with disdain and said, "You idiot, get lost. If I were your age and still a one-star Dou Practitioner, I'd find a piece of tofu and smash my head against it!"
