Chapter 34: Did something happen last night?

"Well, I am not tired at all, and I appreciate your concern," Emma replied firmly comforting the worried housekeepers.
Upon hearing Emma's response, they praised her for her resilience.
"It's truly impressive that the young mistress isn't tired at all. Any other girl would have been exhausted." One of them remarked.
"The young mistress is undoubtedly a strong woman", another added.
The housekeepers were so in awe of Emma's strength and endurance that they began to whisper amongst themselves.
"The young mistress babies will surely be beautiful and strong, for they will inherit these robust genes from their mother," they whispered. Their admiration for Emma was apparent in their hushed tones.
What in the world are they thinking about??
Strange!!!!
Emma felt puzzled by the sudden strange drama which had unfolded the morning.
"Okay, I will open this letter now. Please leave me alone. Thank you." She told the housekeepers in a firm yet polite tone.
However, to her surprise, the head housekeeper informed her that they had to follow Madam's instructions before she could read the letter.
The housekeepers immediately went into action, entering the room with their cleaning supplies to carry out their duties, trying to adhere to their madam's commands.
Although Emma's room was already immaculately clean, the housekeepers still had to clean it again because it was their madam's orders.
While changing the bedsheets, the housekeepers couldn't help but gossip amongst themselves.
"Hey, do you think something happened last night?", one of them asked curiously while exchanging curious glances.
" I am not sure look at the bed sheet yourself, all plain and clean now what do you think?" another replied dismissively as they continued their work.
