Chapter 35: Men don't fall

Lloyd awakened after some hours. His eyelashes fluttered open, divulging a pair of hazel eyes. He gazed at the familiar ceiling. He closed his eyes at first.

He let out a sigh before he opened his eyes again and sat upright without any assistance from anyone.

He tipped his head against the headboard, and his hazel eyes met with Oliver's.

The butler stood straight with his head hung low and hands intertwined before him.

Lloyd waved off the duvet on his body, his legs settled on the ground. He inquired, "How long did I sleep, Oliver?"

Gulping, the man responded, "For six hours. It's currently noon" He added.

Lloyd's face twisted into a scowl. He couldn't believe that he had been unproductive for six hours. The last thing he remembered was languidly walking into the dining with a hazy vision. He had seen Hermione. She looked as perfect as she always was.
