"I can't believe you've stooped so low for a mere human, Kieran." The Red King said in disappointment, seeing how determined Lord Kieran was to protect his mortal mate.

"My Iris isn't just a mere human." The demon lord said in response, with his chin held high. "You wouldn't have come here to kill her if that mere human you are talking about doesn't pose a threat towards you."

The Red King was instantly angered by those words. He pulled out his own sword and pointed it against Lord Kieran. On his cue, the thick gray fog behind him dissipated, revealing a large army of troops that he had brought with him.

"Xanaros has really lost his mind this time. We can't tolerate this any longer." Lady Selene whispered to her brother, her eyes never locked on the fight between Lord Xanaros and Lord Kieran.
