Synopsis

Micheal von Shelb, the lazy but genius son of a Duke, wakes from a nightmare to discover he’s just a side character in a multiverse of sappy novels—and the authors didn’t even bother giving him a happy ending. Fed up, he ditches his father’s schemes, vows to rescue his forgotten wife Magda, and sets his sights on a quiet life selling “man-bras” to bicep-flexing dukes. Armed with wit and rebellion, Micheal shakes up the court, defies fate, and proves even side characters can steal the spotlight.

Hello author here! Thank you for taking your time to read my story. I'm happy to invite you all to the world of Micheal as he, his family and friends journey to find happy endings to their own stories instead of being cannonfodders in other people's stories. (And a shameless five star for myself.[img=Loving it])

The story takes place in an average rofan world that met steam-punk? The story really started only after Barnaby was introduced. I enjoyed the character dynamics, especially in the military camp. I don't know if it is because, it is a slow burn in terms of romance (not much so far). The MC is a golden retriever. His father-in-law could be the second ML (he just showed up and he is like my fav character now).

The story shows promise, but I feel there’s room to further develop the characters and deepen their personalities. For me, understanding the characters’ perspectives is essential, as it helps create a more immersive experience. Additionally, I’m struggling to fully grasp how the protagonist’s abilities work. It would be helpful to provide more clarity on this aspect, so readers can better understand how those abilities shape his journey and impact his development throughout the novel. Enhancing this would allow for a smoother, more engaging narrative!
